Fiber Optic
Fiber Optics is the illumination of glass or polymer strands which carry light across its length. For lighting, multiple strands are used to display the light along the cable length, or to deliver light at the fiber end. Fiber optic lighting offers several unique advantages for special applications including the safety of transmitting lighting instead of electricity, a lack of UV light at the point of delivery, and the positioning of a remote light source.
