DC Regulated Wall Plugs are economical power supplies of limited wattage and typically include short and overload protection, line/load regulation, and UL/CE listing.

 

Because these are switching supplies and provide constant voltage, line power should not be dimmed. Output is dimmable via an external PWM or similar dimmer.
